a tribute to Bellavista.
COSÌ PARLÒ ISAIA
It started with a scene. A man walked into his living room, a place filled with books, books that had always been meant to bring people together. But now, they had been used to build walls. Partition walls. When Rosetta explained that they had used books as dividers, Bellavista didn’t get angry. He got disappointed. Because books, like ideas, were never meant to separate. They were meant to unite.
And then comes that scene: The man, walking slowly through the salon, crossing islands divided by books, giving us, without knowing it, a runway.
That runway is where our FW25 collection was born. We imagined a salon like that one, filled with culture, life, and conversation, but also filled with invisible walls: books that could divide or connect, depending on how you chose to look at them. Our runway became that living room.
Books formed corridors and passages, but clothes and people moved through them, opening space, creating dialogue. The collection spoke that same language: sharp, elegant tailoring rooted in Neapolitan tradition, mixed with unexpected details, a quiet rebellion, a subtle irony, as if each garment carried a story, a reflection, a question. Because fashion, too, can be a wall or a bridge. And for FW25, we chose to build bridges. Like all those who believe that culture, beauty, and ideas are meant to be shared, not used to divide.
THE COLLECTION
The collection opens with bold, masculine, and warm colors: burgundy, red, light and dark gray, followed by camel, cognac, chocolate, peacock blue, and cream, transitioning to military green, and evening shades like black, chocolate, and navy. Sartorial elegance evolves with softened shapes and volumes. Coats and jackets, the undisputed stars of the collection, stand out with new proportions and details, such as duffle coats and maxi coats crafted from luxurious fabrics like double cashmere, alpaca, and bouclé. Tailored jackets in exclusive ISAIA fabrics are paired with fluid trousers for a contemporary look, while cashmere knitwear, featuring intarsia patterns or three-dimensional textures, is designed for the coldest winters. Nappa and suede complete the collection with bombers, shirt-jackets, and tailored blazers, with the red wool duffle coat as a standout.
For women, feminine and bold colors borrow from the men’s wardrobe, including plum, tearose, gray, camel, tobacco, peacock blue, chocolate, and ivory, with absolute black reserved for eveningwear. The silhouettes, elegant and enveloping, combine Neapolitan tailoring with masculine inspirations, featuring impeccable blazers, oversized coats, and masculine-cut trousers. Knitwear enriched with intarsia and hand-embroidered details culminates in the double cashmere maxi cape, the collection’s must-have piece.
